Say hello to the easiest yet most utterly sinful and satisfying cheese creation! I’m so excited to partner with Sahale Snacks to showcase their Pomegranate Pistachios Glazed Mix, which is the secret ingredient for this knockout dish. You’ll have a salty, sweet, tart, and bold dish that’s good for snacking or as a centerpiece for your next cheeseboard with almost no effort!
All you need to pull this together is a big ball of bread (I’d recommend a French boule or sourdough loaf), a wheel of Camembert or Brie cheese, an optional splash of wine, and a handful of nut mix, in my case I’m using Sahale Snacks Pomegranate Pistachios. It’s become my new favorite snack mix with a delicious combination of flavors and crunchy and chewy textures from the gourmet blend of de-shelled pistachios, roasted almonds, dried cherries, and pomegranate flavored apples – all with a hint of lemon and black pepper.
While my recipe shows you how to use the snack mix in a Baked Camembert Bread Bowl, you could also do this without putting it in a bread bowl, and can also try it with Baked Brie instead as pictured above. Just follow the same steps but without the bread. You can also try drizzling your cheese with honey for extra sweetness instead of adding the wine.
Sahale Snacks makes a wide variety of unique nut mixes that would pair well with Camembert or Brie, so you could certainly try one of their other blends like Maple Pecans, Pomegranate Vanilla Cashews, and Honey Almonds. It makes preparing your baked cheese super easy since all you need to do is pour the snack mix right onto your cheese – no other effort is needed! Give it a try and let me know your favorite combinations.
