My First Week with Nutrition Kitchen HK – Flexitarian Meal Plan Review

Nutrition Kitchen HK Review - Flexitarian Meal Plan- Chicken Laksa

I’m finally done with my no carb, no dairy diet!!! 🥳 I managed to survive by cooking up so many satisfying, meaty meals, and the results were significant – I dropped from 33% body fat to 27% thanks to that 2 week elimination diet with Hybrid Gym 🤯 Since it’s primary objective is to eliminate all the inflammation in your body, I’d say it definitely worked BUT it’s just not sustainable, both from the amount of time I spent cooking and because I can’t imagine life without carbs and cheese. ENTER: Nutrition Kitchen, a meal delivery service in Hong Kong that provides chef-prepared, portion-controlled meals.

You choose whether you want regular, flexitarian, or vegetarian meals, along with how many meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner or just lunch and dinner for example), and what size meals you want. You can also go low carb, where they provide more vegetables instead of carb-dense noodles or pasta so you can find any meal plan to match your goals.

I tried the regular low carb meal plan one week, and the flexitarian meal plan after my meat-heavy elimination diet so I could cut down on my meat intake, and was pleasantly surprised by the tasty vegetarian meals like tempeh vindaloo and a Vietnamese-style marinated tofu that has a fish version on the regular menu.

With a lack of affordable, healthy takeaway options in Hong Kong, Nutrition Kitchen makes is so much easier since each day’s meals get delivered to you each morning. You just have to heat them up in the microwave, and I was surprised at how tender the meat stays, like with the poached eggs with beef tenderloin where even poached eggs stayed runny!

Each day’s meals are different and span a variety of cuisines too, so definitely give Nutrition Kitchen a try if you’re tired of running out for lunch to eat the same boring salad or chicken bowls, or if you want to spice up your breakfast every day.
